Our Story
The Secret Garden — grown with love in Devon
Formed from part of our field in 2021, The Secret Garden is a boutique flower and herb garden which is a joy to the senses, bursting with colour and scent and teeming with wildlife.

These are ecoflowers in the true sense of the word — grown sympathetically and with love. The garden is biodiverse and a haven for wildlife, from bees and butterflies to two different woodpecker species, greenfinches, wagtails, thrushes and many other garden birds.
We also have an organic form of pest control — two runner ducks called Valerie and Clive. They wander the rows, keeping things in balance and adding a little character to the place.
What we grow
A garden for every season
Sweet peas & spring blooms
We have deliciously scented sweet peas right through the season from May to November in a range of colours. Spring brings tulips, spring bulbs and peonies — a wonderful start to the year.
Summer & autumn colour
A huge range of annuals, perennials, dahlias and roses fill the garden through the warmer months, with a wildflower patch that hums with life.
Visit the farm
Pick your own & cream tea days
The Secret Garden is open for pick-your-own flowers on certain days throughout the season. We also hold Cream Tea and Flowers days — where you can enjoy a homemade Devonshire cream tea and wander the rows to pick your own blooms.
We have an Edwardian flower barrow for farm gate sales, and a popup stand at Tiverton Parkway railway station for commuters who fancy taking a little bit of Devon home with them.

Winter
Christmas wreaths & garlands
In the winter I make Christmas wreaths and garlands using local, organically grown firs and our own wild holly and ivy. You can find them at www.christmaswreathsdirect.co.uk.
